Catalytic Converter
A pollution reduction device found on all modern vehicle exhaust systems that contains a catalyst. When heated to operating temperature, the catalytic converter converts the harmful gases (HC, CO, and NOx) into less harmful emissions including oxygen, carbon dioxide, and water.
Catalytic converter assembly. This emissions control device contains precious metal catalysts that convert HC, CO, and NOx into less harmful gases when heated to operating temperature.
